The Logline

Pietro & Pica Bernadone
As Francis's parents, Pietro and Pica represent two very different visions for their son's future. A wealthy and ambitious cloth merchant, Pietro dreams of elevating the Bernadone name through honor, power, and worldly success. In contrast, the gentle and deeply faithful Pica desires only that Francis grow into a man who follows the will of the Lord. Angelo Bernadone
